Björn Kleinhenz' new album "The fall of discontent", now available on Bandcamp and Spotify (as I randomly discovered last night). As with everything Björn does, this album is very highly recommended.
If you want to be one of the first folks to score a copy of Björn Kleinhenz's new acoustic album "The fall of discontent", get in touch with the man here: http://www.kleinhenz.se/
He'll be bringing a few copies with him on tour to Germany, but it can't hurt to pre-order.
A new song from Björn Kleinhenz, a different version of which will appear on "The fall of discontent" - a collaboration with photographer Simon Rydén due out this coming December.
I came back from a long run this morning and my wife asked me to put on some music while she made breakfast. "Something mellow, but not a bummer," she said. I put this song and knew immediately that it was the perfect choice. A clear, sunny summer morning and the song stylings of Björn Kleinhenz; it doesn't get much nicer. Have a happy and safe 4th of July everybody!
Björn Kleinhenz reports that his new album "Djago Bråk", which I do believe is his planned acoustic album, is just about done and will be released in May. Just in time for tour, too -- he'll be setting out to Germany once again, this time with Karin Wiberg on violin and Jonathan Larsson on accordion as accompaniment. Dates:
The Berlin show will be a special one too, because Björn will be playing with Pink Moth and they'll have a new split CD/download for the show featuring one song each "based on notes made during our travels together in the spring of 2010." More details and maybe even some samples soon...
Things I've learned today: Peter Dolving will talk politics for hours, Jonas Björler says The Haunted is gay, Those Dancing Days have earned your respect, Tove Styrke's signature dish is pannacotta. Also: Björn Kleinhenz is working on an acoustic album, young panda girls with Broder Daniel patches still exist and Swedish beer is getting much, much better.
