Finnish punkers Hero Dishonest started recording a new album today. Combat Rock Industry will handle the CD release and I imagine that If Society will do the vinyl.

Finnish act Hero Dishonest has a new website: http://www.ifsociety.com/herodishonest/

Finnish punks Hero Dishonest on tour in the UK:

09/23 - King's Tavern, Reading w/Whole in the Head, Crash the Pose, Dirtline
09/24 - 1 in 12 Club, Bradford w/See You in Hell, Homo Consumens, Filthpact, more
09/25 - tbc (matinee in Manchester and evening show in Liverpool?)

These dudes put on a damn good show, so you should check 'em out if you get a chance.

Hero Dishonest has decided to take it easy for awhile and has cancelled their Russian tourdates. They'll still play in the UK in late September though.

If Society has announced that they'll finally be releasing the last two Hero Dishonest albums ("Juggernaut" and "Let your poison scream") on vinyl, one on each side of a 12". Yes, they are both short enough to fit on one side apiece. It is hardcore, after all. Anyhow, it's gonna be packaged in a fancy gatefold with bronze print n all that and should be out this summer. More details when I get 'em.

Finland's Hero Dishonest has posted the tour diary from their recent UK and US tour: http://www.ifsociety.com/herodishonest/heroukusa.php
If you look very closely, you can see me in one of SF photos.

Has it really been two years already? Hard to bellieve I've been doing this for so long already, the time just flies by. So cheers everyone! Here's to another year! Well-wishers are encouraged to send money in lieu of gifts.

Since it's such a special day, I've posted two new mp3s today. First up in Novak with their single "It all works out in the end" from the new album "Perpetual motion". I'm still undecided about the record as a whole, but this song is undeniably catchy. Tons of energy, great hooks and solid guitar work. Next up in "Draped in disease" from Swedish all-star old-school death metal act Bloodbath. Vocalist Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) may no longer be in the band, but he's been more than capably replaced by Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain). Factor in that the rest of the band is fleshed out by Dan Swanö along with members of Katatonia and Witchery and you've got an instant classic.

Going to see Finland's Hero Dishonest tonight in San Francisco at The Hemlock. Should be fun!
