Black-metal band Gorgoroth has reportedly left Nuclear Blast. It has also been reported that drummer Kvitrafn has parted ways with the group and has already been replaced by Frost (Satyricon, 1349). And if you remember, the band was recently in a bit of hot water regarding blashpemy accusations stemming from a recent show in Poland. More soon?

UPDATE AGAIN: Blabbermouth now says that Trym (ex-Emperor) has been recruited to take Frost's place. One way or another, the people behind the tour are intent on making sure everything goes as planned.

1349's latest album "Beyond the Apocalypse" will be released in the US on May 4 via Candlelight Records. The band features drummer Frost of Satyricon and this is their second album.

The US release of their latest album "Volcano" has been set for April 6 through Sony imprint EatUrMusic, the label of Daron Malakian of System of a Down.

Candlelight Records has reportedly sign both Cadaver and Khold to their label. The former's debut album was released by Earache and Khold was on Moonfog, the label run by Satyr of Satyricon.

The Norwegian Kiss-tribute supergroup Black Diamond Brigade will play a one-off show in Bergen, Norway on February 14. As mentioned before, the lineup features Knut "Euroboy" Schreiner (Turbonegro, guitar), Billy Gould (Faith No More, bass), Sigurd "Satyr" Wongraven (Satyricon, guitar), Torgny Amdam (Amulet, vocals) and Tarjei Strøm (Ralph Myerz & The Jack Herren Band, drums). Satyricon's most recent album "Volcano" has been confirmed for an April 6 release. As mentioned before, there's talk of them supporting Morbid Angel on tour over here, but nothing's confirmed quite yet. Also look them to play a couple dates in Norway at the end of February with Turbonegro. Now that's a bill!

Satyricon have reportedly been selected for one of the support slots on the upcoming 'American Heretic Tour' with Morbid Angel. Suffocation and Premonitions of War are the other two bands on the bill and April 14 is the kick-off date. Details soon.

Famed Swedish video director Jonas Åkerlund is working with Blink-182 on their next single "I Miss You". Åkerlund's previous credits include artists such as Satyricon, Madonna, Metallica and The Prodigy.
