Top 10s for 2009: Johan Gustavsson (Scraps of Tape, Tsukimono, Thee Gutted String)

This might be incredibly late for this but here it is, 2009 in list-form:

01. Getting pregnant with my partner Sara.
The kid is due in 2010 but still it has been THE biggest thing this year.

02. Touring with Scraps of Tape.
Touring Europe, Japan and Sweden. As usual, being on the road with the guys is amazing. Thanks to everyone who came to the shows and who were in any way involved.

03. Releasing "Grand letdown".
The latest album from Scraps was such a fucking struggle to get together, but we made it and we're pleased. Onwards to new things.

04. Releasing "Heart attack money".
This album meant a great deal to me. Made me get through hard times and a not-so-healthy living during the time it was assembled. I've never done anything this thought-through in my whole life. Every sound, every second of music, every word and every picture on and in this album is there for a reason and has a purpose. Thank you Gustav.

05. My family.
This includes band-members and loved ones. Probably it's the "becoming a father" business in work here but family, once again, has proven to reign supreme in my life.

Also working with all the different bands I'm in and with all the fantastic people I know, creating from the heart. Thank you all for sharing it with me.
