Lena Philipsson - Nästa säsong (preview)

A preview of the new Lena Philipsson single "Nästa säsong", written by Björn Olsson and Kaah and produced by Mattias Glavå (Anna Järvinen, Broder Daniel, Joel Alme, etc.). Lena's as-yet-untitled upcoming album will be out on November 30 and boasts a diverse cast of other cowriters, including Veronica Maggio, Christian and Vanessa Falk, Kleerup, Kaah, Dungen, Mauro Scocco and Markus Krunegård.

No surprise that Veronica Maggio's album "Satan i gatan" debuted at #1 on release in Sweden and stayed there for a few weeks -- it's a fantastic pop record and anyone who disagrees ought to get their ears checked. There will always be naysayers, but sometimes popular consensus really does point to quality.

Veronica Maggio - Jag kommer (Wrokout bootleg remix)

Normally I can hardly be bothered to check out all the remix garbage that gets sent my way, but I'll make a small exception for this since a) the new Veronica Maggio single "Jag kommer" is a great tune and b) this mix tamps down the Strokes-isms that are kind of distracting on the original and turns it back into the sort of straight-up dancepop you might have expected in the first place. Recommended!
