Dagensskiva is saying that C.Aarmé, one of my absolute favorite bands, will be breaking up after their final gig at Klubb Gaystraight2hell in Göteborg on December 2. Lame. Look for their final track "The abyss song" to be posted on myspace around the Holidays.
Seriously, what is wrong with people?
That's the question I wake up with everyday. I love people - why don't they love us? In time, I promise.
Do you consider yourselves to be a punkrock band? What does punk mean to you?
No punkrock band. Punk is emotion and has nothing to do with a music style. The best punk song right now is Justice - "Waters Of Nazareth", be sure to check it out!
What's up with MPTP? Are you ever gonna do anything else?
Ah shit. in time, I promise (again). Or are we one hit wonders? hmm.. Jessie [Garon, C.Aarmé/MPTP vocalist] has some lyrics to put together and he's a nurse soon as well and I have a new band called - Nya Svart - with my lovely Miss Kitty.
Really, who dropped the ball with "Vita"? Why aren't you as big as Kent yet?
Help us to put the music back in focus and fuck all the business people who's in it for the money. Seriously. I believe in networking and love the new deal with downloading from the net, myspace and everything!!
Download "We are the world" and get with it. Listen to C.Aarmé remixed here: http://www.myspace.com/ticatua
MP3: C.Aarmé - We are the world
If you're reading this now, then today must be Wednesday and I'm somewhere in San Jose. Today I am talking with Ola Håkansson of C.Aarmé:
I think that "Vita" is one of 2006's best records. Why hasn't the rest of the world recognized your genius?
In time. But seriously, Epitaph!? What's up with record companies!?!? Fuck that shit. We're gonna start up our own label and fool some old rich man to send some money our way. Any other good ideas?

Elsewhere on the Interweb: I've contributed to yet another group post on Mars Needs Guitars. This time the subject is the best song from the first half of 2006, so there's no way I could hold back from raving about C.Aarmé yet again. Check it: http://www.marsneedsguitars.com/2006/06/music-bloggers-favorites.html
