Simon Says goodbye

Norwegian indierockers Simon Says No! are calling it quits with one last EP of previously unreleased material called "For the last time" and a couple of farewell gigs in Bergen and Oslo on September 29 and October 11 respectively.

Scrags 7" gets release date

The Scrags' long-awaited 7" "Void lodge" will be officially released on via and will include the track "Cold wind" on the flip. Help the band celebrate with a show at Bar Brooklyn/Strand in Stockholm on September 5.

Ulver + Tromsø Kammerorkester

Ulver will be performing a newly commissioned piece of music at Tromsø Kulturhus with their 35-piece chamber orchestra on September 21. Their words: "The mass is new electronic/symphonic music specifically written for the evening, and it is grave." Gösta Berlings Saga 2nd album to get vinyl release

Swedish instrumental/prog act Gösta Berlings Saga's excellent sophomore release "Detta har hänt" will be getting a much-welcome vinyl next month and the band will celebrate by hopping on Switchblade's record release show on September 20 at Hornstull Strand in Stockholm. Details here.

Lukestar says goodbye

Norwegian indierockers Lukestar are sadly calling it quits after 10 years as a band and will play their final show on August 31 at Parkteateret in Oslo. Read their final statement here.
