Champagne Riot to release EP via Matinee Recordings

Champagne Riot has confirmed that their forthcoming EP "Confessions of a poker pro" will be released via . No exact date yet, but they say to expect it before Christmas. As for the tracklist, the EP "will be a compilation of [their] best recordings from fall 2009 through to summer 2010" as they feel that they moved beyond that era of music-making and will be working on a different level for their eventual LP.

Graveless lose guitarist

Guitarist Andreas Meisingseth has parted ways with Swedish death metallers Graveless. A replacement has yet to be announced, but is currently being sought.

Jonas Knutsson to release solo folk album for sax

Swedish saxophonist Jonas Knutsson will be releasing the new album "Blåslåtar" on November 22 via , his first album recorded solo with no accompaniment. The record is collection of various folk tunes Jonas has collected over the years from various parts of Sweden, transcribed from fiddle and reconfigured for sax.
