Familjen - Det var jag single details

Teaser videos are a bumout, but it does provide extra content with the news that Familjen's next single "Det var jag", due in late August, will be released in two separate digital editions as well as on 12" vinyl. And with a full-length video too.

has announced that Ludwig Bell's debut Fredrik Swahn-produced solo album "Jag har försökt att förklara" will be released on August 25.

Champage Riot to release 7"

Champagne Riot will be releasing a double a-side single via UK label on September 27, or at least so says Off the Radar. The featured tracks will be "Heart stab" (see the aforementioned link for a d/l) and "A friend of a friend" and no, I'm not sure if XXX Records is the legit name or just a placeholder, but it's certainly the least original name I've heard in ages if it is indeed a new English label.

Death Invocation to release Usurpress demo

Swedish cassette label has announced that their next release will be "Demo 2010" from d-beat/death/crust act Usurpress.

West Side plans fall releases

Norrland label has confirmed that besides the new Bedroom Eyes album due out in August, they'll also be putting out a new album from Penniless (their 5th), a debut EP from Popterror and also a single from the band The Blues. Beyond that, Amber Oak's debut album is still in the pipeline as well, but apparently there's no confirmed date on that one yet.

UwSSoc post new video, prep EP

Finnish act Underwater Sleeping Society celebrate their 10th anniversary as a band this year and have a new animated video for the song "Accidents" to help commemorate it: https://www.vimeo.com/13643583
Look for a new free digital EP from the band in a week or so as well.

Djerv confirm debut EP

Norwegian act Djerv (ex-Animal Alpha) have announced that their debut release will be the 3-track "Headstone EP", due out August 3 via their own label . The material was originally recorded as a demo, but is being released now to tide over fans until the eventual full-length which will be released in February/March 2011.

Kite will release a new EP

Swedish electro duo Kite have confirmed that they will be following up their previous two EPs with... yet another EP. And with the extremely imaginative title of "III". Regardless, I'm excited to hear it -- they're a great act.
