Even though it's barely relevant to It's a Trap!, I'm stoked to learn that Swedish label will be reissuing Doomstone's 1994 cult classic "For those whom Satan hath joined" on vinyl for the very first time this coming fall. For the unindoctrinated, Doomstone was a project featuring members of Deceased playing what I guess you could call old-school Satanic Heavy Metal. They also boasted one of the best band member aliases of all-time, Cross Turner Upside-Downer.
There's a new EP out from Trondheim-based artist Bendik on the label: https://www.riotfactory.no/rfac20.php

Long-running Copenhagen hardcore act Death Token will finally be releasing an LP via in the not-so-distant future. Entitled "All dreams are nightmares", the label says it sounds like "a massive recording mixing up classic raw Japanese and European hardcore punk with a Hellhammer meets Rudimentari Peni styled approach." No official release date, just soon.

"Metalion - The Slayer Mag Diaries", the upcoming anthology and memoir from Norway's premiere underground metal zine, is fresh off the presses and ready for ordering via : https://www.metalionbook.com/
Obviously an essential buy for all true metal fans as it covers pretty much every crucial artist, from the 80s through today. And be sure to check those pics to see the full-on heft that thing is packing. Also, since it somehow worked for me with BP's last book, I have to say that I would absolutely love a review copy as it would fit perfectly on my bookshelf next to every other BP publication that I've bought, from the excellent "Touch & Go" anthology through "Only Death is Real" and "Hellbent for Cooking".

My confidential informants on the street tell me that Kulturföreningen Pluto in Gröndal, Stockholm does not pay bands as promised, so if you were planning on gigging there and expecting to be compensated for your time and talent, think otherwise.
