JR Ewing report that their recent UK shows with Mars Volta went quite well with both being in front of sold out crowds. They've also been working on new material and say they "can't wait to record them by the end of the year." But in more immediately exciting news, the band has plans to come back to the US in October. In their own words:

We know you love us over there, and now we're finally planning to come back and shed some blood on US ground again. We're starting off at the Black Cat in Washington DC on the 15th of October, followed by 8 or so shows with the always sweet Pretty Girls Make Graves. From then on, we want to head out to the westcoast, but are still planning out with what bands, who would book it, and all that bullshit. So have patience, and we'll inform people once we know more. Anywho, we can't wait to get back there. These are the shows so far:
