Swedish punkrockers The Dead have a 5-song EP in the can and are looking for a label. You interested?
Can't say that I understand exactly how this qualifies as punk, but then again, people seem to give Kvelertak a pass as hardcore band; anyhow, I digress! Blomst is a new signing to the label and this song comes off their debut EP "Hold kjeft og smil", due out April 20. Genre quibbles aside, it's worth a listen.

New stuff from Umeå pop-punk act Epidemics. Expect an EP from the band later this year.
Not that I really need an excuse to post a track from the very-excellent Vånna Inget, but considering that today is International Woman's Day (and Purim, but let's not get distracted), I'll take it. Sweden has long excelled in the realm of female-fronted melodic punk with early acts such as Tant Strul, Mögel and Pink Champagne leading the way and modern bands like Knugen Faller and Masshysteri carrying the torch. Vånna Inget keep it burning. Go see them next week at our It's a Trap! Clubnight at Debaser Malmö!

has announced that they have signed Freddie Wadling's new postpunk/industrial project with producer Per Svensson entitled Kingdom Of Evol and will be releasing their debut album "Dark passages * Nocturnal incidents" in early May. Far more exciting than the Freddie covering a bunch of old Bond tunes, that's for sure. Full press release here.
