Can't say that I understand exactly how this qualifies as punk, but then again, people seem to give Kvelertak a pass as hardcore band; anyhow, I digress! Blomst is a new signing to the label and this song comes off their debut EP "Hold kjeft og smil", due out April 20. Genre quibbles aside, it's worth a listen.

Sweden has long excelled in the realm of female-fronted melodic punk with early acts such as Tant Strul, Mögel and Pink Champagne leading the way and modern bands like Knugen Faller and Masshysteri carrying the torch.
