Swedish indie act The Early Days will be releasing a 7" single featuring the song "Contrary" b/w "Shee" plus artwork by Walse Custom Design. No official release date posted, but they are taking pre-orders.

Red Tape update for June
In their latest news update Danish indie label/collective has announced they'll be doing a 7" with Danish post-punk legends Peter Peter Schneidermann (Sods, Sort Sol) and Fritz Fatal (Before, Mental Midget) later this year. The label also has plans for new albums from Papir and The City Kill, the first set for release in August, the latter set to be recorded later this month.
Ane and Thomas on the roof
Renown Norwegian singer/songwriters Ane Brun and Thomas Dybdahl will share the stage for the first time on the roof of the Oslo Opera House on August 7. They will be performing their own material as well as duets and will be backed by the Opera Orchestra under the direction of Christian Eggen. Agonia signs Svartsyn
has signed Swedish black-metal act Svartsyn. The band is currently working on their 6th full-length album "Wrath upon the earth" which they plan to record over the summer.
Jester branches into black-metal
How did I not know about this? , the esteemed avant/whatever label run by Kristoffer "Garm" Rygg of Ulver, will be releasing Nidingr's new album "Wolf-father" on June 5, their very first-ever black-metal release. Bad Afro to repress Baby Woodrose on red vinyl
has announced that they'll be reissuing a couple OOP Baby Woodrose albums on limited vinyl on June 21: 2003's "Money for soul" and 2007's "Chasing rainbows". Both had original vinyl runs that are long gone, but this new batch will be 500 copies each on red.
Scraps of Tape add new member
Scraps of Tape have announced that Fredrik Gillhagen (Meleeh) has been added as a new permanent member, replacing Mikael Persson who left last fall. Keep an eye out for new tourdates this coming fall.

Sound of Copenhagen the comp begets Sound of Copenhagen the label
Danish DJs and radio personalities Le Gammeltoft and Kjeld Tolstrup have decided to expand beyond their "Sound of Copenhagen" compilation series and have started a label under the same name. Their first signing, Hankat aka artist/producer Max Thelin, will release the new single "Be the first" in late June with the next edition (Vol. 5) of the eponymous comp series to follow in August.
Death Invocation unveils "Invocation of death"
Swedish cassette-only underground metal label has confirmed the lineup for their upcoming compilation "Invocation of death vol.1": Gravehammer, Eviscerated, Mass Death, Vanhelgd, Entrapment, Manipulator, Decapitation, Reincarnage, Abduction, Zombiefied. No official release date, but they say it should be available in June or July.
