Selective Notes/Khoma now partners with Razzia

Catch'n'Release, the new label founded by Anders Fridén of In Flames which signed Umeå act Khoma (remember?), has changed their name to Selective Notes and has partnered with Razzia Records to handle the release of said album. Expect the first single in March with the full-length to follow in April.

Ja Ja Ja February showcase confirmed

10000 Records attempts new business ideal

10000 Records is the name of a new Danish label founded by Noah Rosanes of The Freudian Slip with the concept that no album they release will cost more than 10k Danish kroner (~$2000/1350€) and the funds for each subsequent release will be raised by auctioning off an exclusive track for that starting price. Naturally, the label's first release will be from the founder's own act, The Freudian Slip. Their album "Positive/negative" comes out February 22.

I haven't checked it out myself since no one has given me an iPhone yet, but they say that you can use it to "listen to our music, watch the videos, connect with fans/artists/label and a lot of other stuff."
